Labyrinth of Amalaby ~Curenio

Someone asked me quite a while back on tumblr for a composite version of this, and I finally got around to trying to combine them. It's still fairly obvious where this was two sheets of paper but they really didn't match up much at all, so I think I'm okay with it.

Anyway, this is a map-like representation of the amala labyrinth from Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne. One of the most arduous things I've done on deadline this past year, but still a favorite.

I think I still forgot to erase some pencils lines oh god

Holy freaking hell I remember seeing you post all the pieces of this before but to see it all together, here, in such glorious high-res and crisp and clean and dear lord your linework your utterly insane, absolutely incredible linework and how much you created with negative space alone and and and just oooooohhhhhhh dear god Curenio this is so goooooooorgeous uwaaaaahhhhhhh, there I go breaking down incoherent in the end but that's just what your stuff does to me, goddammit ♥

Utterly insane is correct, my god *_* I haven't been able to pick up a rapidograph with any sense of enthusiasm since then. xD I was kind of inspired by your stuff, actually! Your "I Dream..." piece has always been an inspiration to vertical composition and flow for me, so it was a fun challenge to try and do make it work for me for once. <:

Haha yes - took quite a bit of time! Probably not as long as the hours I've lost to sudden KOs and curse floors in Amala, but fairly close. xD
